2198-H025-ERS2 Servo Drive – Allen-Bradley Kinetix 5500 (5.1 kW) Brand New Sealed
The Kinetix 5500 Ethernet I/P servo drive from Allen-Bradley with catalog number 2198-H025-ERS2 features compatibility with Two (2) input supply voltage ranges such as 195-264V rms, 3-phase and 324-528V rms, 3-phase, having a nominal voltage level of 240VAC and 480VAC, respectively. This drive delivers continuous output current of 8.0 A, peak output Current of 11.3 A, peak output current current (rms) of 20.0 A and 0-pk output current of 28.3 A along output power of 2.4 kW at 195-264V, 3-phase supply voltage and 5.1 kW at 324-528V, 3-phase.
This Kinetix drive is a frame 2 drive having physical dimensions of 225 mm (8.86 in) for height; 55 mm (2.16 in) for Width and 226 mm (8.90 in) for depth. This drive has an operating temperature ranges of 0…50 °C (32…122 °F) when installed with the 2198-KITCON-DSL connector kit and 0…40 °C (32…104 °F) when installed with a 2198-H2DCK converter kit and the existing 2090-CPBM7DF motor power/brake cable and 2090-CFBM7DF motor feedback cable. When storing this drive, the typical storage temperature is -40…+70 °C (-40…+158 °F). The relative humidity for both conditions is 5-95%.
Mechanical characteristics of the motor includex operating vibration of 5…55 Hz @ 0.35 mm (0.014 in.) double amplitude, continuous displacement; 55…500 Hz @ 2.0 g peak constant acceleration while operating shock is 15 g, 11 ms half-sine pulse (3 pulses in each direction of 3 mutually perpendicular directions). The drive comes with a protection class of IP 20 and carries certifications from cULus, CE, Functional Safety, RCM, KC, ODVA and OSHA.
This drive is compatible with controllers such as Compact GuardLogix 5570 or GuardLogix 5570, for issuing STO commands over an Ethernet/IP network. This feature provides a safe power-off action for the inverter transistors when receiving a monitored digital input. The drive supports motion and safety connection modes as well as a safety-only mode. When managing safety-only or both safety and motion, the Safety Network Number is automatically populated. To start and configure, the 2198-H025-ERS2 servo drive is located in the Controller Organizer of the Ethernet category, under the I/O Configuration folder. This module supports both bus-sharing multi-axis settings and standalone units, with an easy installation process and user-friendly operation. Installations that it can be configured for include shared AC/DC hybrid installations, multi-axis shared AC/DC, shared AC or shared DC. To dissipate excess energy, the servo drive has internal shunt resistor. For applications that require increased shared DC bus capacitance, Bulletin 2097 external shunt resistors, and Bulletin 2198 capacitor modules are available.
